Above Constraints is built by one person who got tired of watching talented creators fail because the system wasn’t designed for them. No VC money. No corporate safety net. Just a genuine belief that the right tools, infrastructure, and community can connect the entire world of gaming — and that it should be built right here, in Italy.
Build a unified platform that links every corner of the gaming world — indie developers, modders, artists, server operators, and players — and give them the tools and support to build something new. Not just a publisher. A full ecosystem, from the first prototype to a live community server.
A real office. A real team. Infrastructure owned and operated from Italy, built to serve the global gaming community sustainably. Italy has the talent — it's always lacked the ecosystem. Above wants to be that. A place where young Italians can build careers in gaming, and where the world shows up to collaborate with them.
Old games and mods are disappearing. Communities shut down, servers go dark, knowledge dissolves. Keeping that history alive — the games, the modding scenes, the custom servers that defined entire childhoods — is part of the mission. Some things are worth fighting to keep running.
Right now: indie game publishing, free courses, a Discord community, and the first community servers coming online. Small, honest, and growing. The infrastructure expands as the people around it do. Every collaborator who joins adds another layer to what Above can offer.
One founder, a community review squad, and a handful of technical allies. Small for now — but that's the point. Every person here is here because they believe in the mission, not because they're on a payroll.

Community squad that reviews games in Discord, plays them before approval, and keeps standards consistent.

Third-party specialists who jump in to solve complex tasks or volunteer expertise when we hit hairy problems.
Old games and mods are disappearing. Communities dissolve, servers go dark, knowledge vanishes. We believe keeping that history alive is part of the mission.
Prototypes that move beat pitches that stall. We value momentum over polish and iteration over paralysis.
Everything we figure out gets shared — courses, dev logs, post-mortems. When one person learns, everyone levels up.
The infrastructure exists to serve the people building. Not the other way around.
We don't inflate what we are. If something's broken, we say so. If numbers are small, we show them anyway.
The dream is a real office, a real team, real infrastructure — built in Italy, for the world. Young Italians deserve a place in the gaming industry too.
This isn't a sprint to an exit. It's a platform built to last — one that gets stronger as the community grows and the infrastructure matures.
If you're building something, or just trying to figure out how to start — the Discord is the right first move. Everyone in this community came in with nothing but ambition. That's enough.
